Neroli Essential Oil is derived from the blossoms of either the sweet orange tree or the bitter orange tree though Orange Blossom Oil has been around for centuries, Neroli wasn’t discovered until the seventeenth century. It was named after Anna Maria de la Tremoille, the princess of Nerola who used it to scent her gloves and bath water and also where it is a Perfume. The oils properties were extremely valued by the people of Venice.
 
Neroli provides an aroma of floral, softness, and is very rich but delicate and warm, with a fresh citrus quality. Aromatherapy qualities include use as a hypnotic and sedative. Uplifting, and easing the mind, restoring ones energy. Great nerve tonic. Other properties include being antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, carminative, cordial and deodorant. Many people use the 3% dilution as a perfume or a bath oil straight from the bottle.
