Warm, fresh citrus scent, radiant, fruity and tangy. Bitter Orange smells very similar to Sweet Orange oil with a much stonger more pronounced aroma with a hint of grapefruit. Provides fresh energy, clearing and inspiring the mind, Avoid heavy concentration. Very popular in household cleaning products as it aids in cleaning and smells so clean. Be careful on plastic and synthetic surfaces as it may affect them negatively .As with other citrus essential oils just a few drops in water when washing dishes or cleaning will brighten up your work. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat, store in a cool area or refrigerator. Blends well with many different oils such as lavender, Neroli, Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood, Frankincense, or Tea Tree.
 
Cautions: This oil is phototoxic and exposure to the sun should be avoided if applied to the skin. Dilute well before use. May cause skin irritation in some individuals.
