A spicy-woody aroma similar to the powdered spice used in Eastern cuisine, even more vibrant and delicious. Used in aromatherapy for its relaxing, stimulating, and balancing properties. Excellent for oriental / fantasy type aromas. Turmeric can lend a very distinct softness and roundness to a spicy blend. Excellent with ginger, ylang ylang, clary sage, and spices. Can have irritating and toxic effects when used in large concentrations.
